I know, I’m the worst. I’ve spent the past week being the laziest bum, catching up on Scandal, watching The Fosters in its entirety and generally being an awful slug of a human obsessed with hiding under the cozy and confined blankets of my bed. It’s a hard pattern to break, especially with the fourth (fifth?) snowpocalypse of the season still looming. So instead of giving you actual content, I’m going to end my week of laze (abbrev. for laziness) with an unoriginal post of laze — links, links, and more links.

In TV news, indie star Great Gerwig was cast in HIMYM’s spinoff – HIMYDad.
From Buzzfeed, I’m always a sucker for anything 90’s related.

A Weekend Recap

I’m not one to feel the need to share current events, because if you read this blog, you likely also keep up the news, but a few noteworthy happenings occurred over the weekend:

The world began to mourn the tragic passing of Phillip Seymour Hoffman at the ripe age of 46. He was such a talented actor; the perils of drug addiction are seriously no joke.
My Seahawks killed the Superbowl and everyone I know now owes me a beverage. Be on the lookout for a post of my favorite ads later in the week :)
I bought a pair of new jeans (yay) and they ripped the first time I wore them (boo). Offering that information just in case that makes anyone out there feel better about themselves (or just, better than me) for three seconds on a Monday morning.
And, my lastly, husband’s last SNL show. Here’s his pals sending him off:

Happy Friday! How can it simultaneously feel like this has been the world’s longest week, yet I’ve somehow accomplished so little? All signs, yet again, point to me overcommitting myself. But that’s no one’s problem but my own. Switching topics; here are some of my favorite things around the inter nets this week:

Everyone’s seen it by now, but the Full House men reunite for a commercial. And that’ll be a YES, PLEASE to John Stamos in boxers.

It’s Wednesday! Which is actually the Friday of my workweek and I’m very much looking forward to utilizing my “weekend” now that I’m finally starting to feel like a mostly formed human again *knocks on wood*. Anyways, today’s list of mid-week links I love all share one popular theme. Any guesses?

How is 2014 treating you so far?! Today is my third (fourth?) day feeling like total crap PLUS I woke up this morning without being able to turn my neck to the left. Two seasons of Girls and an order of banana pancakes later, I’m still missing the full range of motion my neck once provided, but I guess I’m not dead yet (thanks, Advil!). Happy Thursday evening! How was your week? It’ s been a busy/sick few days in a row for me. I’m finally starting to feel like a human again…just in time for my “holiday break,” thank goodness. Without further ado, here’s some of my favorite finds from the world wide web this week.
